When you join Union Workers Credit Services, you will receive a Membership Packet that, among many other goodies, contains a Membership Fee Credit!
Your credit can be used toward the balance on your first credit purchase from the Union Workers Advantage Catalog.
To take advantage of your credit, simply complete the credit form you received and return it with your first credit purchase. Union Workers Credit Services will then apply your credit to the final payment(s) of your purchase!

can this card be used as a regular credit card?
You have been offered a Platinum Membership with many related privileges including a pre-approved credit limit good toward all purchases from us. We're not sure what you mean by "regular credit card". There are many types of "credit cards".
There are general purpose credit cards, such as MasterCard or VISA that are honored at a wide variety of establishments and these companies typically allow "revolving charges" and minimum payments due.
Other credit cards are limited to a specific retail establishment, like department stores, and typically involve revolving lines of credit and minimum payments due.
There are also "secured" credit cards, (also MasterCard and VISA) where you must open a savings account to guarantee repayment of indebtedness to the bank. Your savings account is never used to pay for your charges unless you fail to pay your bill.
Many people view debit cards as credit cards. Although you are being extended credit by the establishment when you present your debit card, the money is typically withdrawn directly from your bank account at the end of each business day. It's more like a checking account, but plastic.
Then there is American Express. Amex typically requires that you pay your bill in full at the end of each month and is NOT honored by many
establishments.

So once again can you take cash off of it and also can you go to other stores to use it like department stores in your state instead of the website?

Union Workers Credit Services offers a line of credit that is limited to our specific establishment, the same as department stores that typically involve revolving lines of credit.

With your Membership you get many benefits, but unfortunately, cash advances are not a benefit we offer.
My question is when u rent a car or book a flight do u pay with the union workers platinum card??
Unfortunately, you are not able to charge rental cars and airline tickets to your Union Workers Platinum Card, but you do get substantial discounts when you show your Platinum card to participating rental companies and hotels across the country. So much discount that you may not need to charge the amount to a traditional credit card.
The UWCS membership has many benefits that could save you thousands of dollars every year for only a small annual fee.

Hello jpc - The travel service is a benefit that provides members discounted travel all over the world.
You must have a credit card to use this service as we are not able to place these charges on your Union Workers Credit Services account.

The Platinum Card is good toward hundreds of items in our Union Workers Credit Services catalog. At this time we do not offer cash advances with the Membership.
